So everyone has been so preoccupied with the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch was in the new Star Trek movie (~~even though I’m pretty sure that’s what a shark would look like if it was humanized, and when he makes weird faces he looks like a foot, Dear god don’t hate me)~~
That no one, No One, Is going to mention that Mickey made it into the movie?

All I can think about now is:

I noticed him when I saw the sneak preview of that scene when I saw The Hobbit.

Every fandom ever

This gets better the longer you watch

Barney is the fan who insists on complete silence and purity in the fandom. Feels should not get in the way.

Ted is the fan who is too emotionally invested in his ship and screams whenever they are on-screen.

Lily is the fan who cries about everything that happens— even when it’s not the least bit emotional.

And Marshall is the hate-watcher who is horrified with the whole fandom but can’t stop watching.

And in that moment, I swear we were all Ted.
